Biography

As a senior (2015): Competed with the second varsity eight in all 11 of the boat’s spring races…sat in the seven seat for the boat’s first six races, before moving to the five seat during the final five races of the season…sat in the five seat when the second varsity eight won silver at the WIRA Championship, and bronze at the American Athletic Conference Championship…competed with the second varsity eight in 27 consecutive spring races dating back to her sophomore season.

As a junior (2014):
Raced with the second varsity eight in all 11 spring races…sat in the two seat in the season opener, before racing at four the final 10 races…sat at four with the JV8’s gold medal winning performance at the WIRA Championships…that boat was named Conference USA’s Boat of the Week on April 30…named to Conference USA’s Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.

As a sophomore (2013):
Began the season by competing in the varsity four (once) and the second varsity four (once) before making the jump to the second vasity eight for the boat’s final five spring races…in the JV8, she sat in the three seat on three occasions, the two seat on one occasion, and once at bow…sat in the two seat with the silver-medal winning second varsity eight at the WIRA Championships.

As a freshman (2012): Competed with the novice eight in six races, including three times in the two seat, twice in the four seat, and once at three…also competed with the novice four on four occasions (twice at two, and once at both bow and stroke)…sat in the two seat with the novice four that reached the grand final of the WIRA Championship.

Personal: Graduated from Sacramento State in the spring of 2015 with a kinesiology major…has a 2,000-meter ergometer time of 7:27.3.
