Biography

As a senior (2021): A second team all-American Athletic Conference selection…granted an extra year of eligibility because of the pandemic which cut the 2020 season short…was the coxswain of the varsity eight in all four spring races…one of seven Hornets to compete with the team’s top boat in each competition…coxed the varsity eight to sub 6:47 times in every race…that included a win over Gonzaga at the Dexter Lake Invitational, the first win over the Bulldogs since 2010…coxed the varsity eight in 18 of the boat’s last 19 spring races dating back to 2019.

As a senior (2020):
Competed in the Hornets’ lone spring regatta against Kansas State before the season was cut short…was the coxswain with the second varsity eight that defeated Kansas State…in the fall, she coxed the varsity eight at the Head of the American.

As a junior (2019):
Was the coxswain for the Hornets’ varsity eight in all 11 spring races…prior to this season, her only coxswain experience came a year ago with the novice four and third varsity four…coxed the varsity eight to victories over Tulsa and Miami at the Lake Natoma Invitational…directed a varsity eight boat that raced to sub 6:57 times in all 11 spring races…coxed the boat to a 43-second victory over UC Davis in the season finale.

As a sophomore (2018):
Competed with four different boats, sitting in four different seats…sat at bow in all five of the third varsity eight/novice eight spring races, winning bronze at the San Diego Crew Classic…that was the first medal won by the Hornets’ novice eight at the San Diego Crew Classic in school history…was the coxswain for the third varsity four twice, including the American Athletic Conference Championship…sat at bow with the second varsity four on one occasion…competed twice with the novice four, once in the two seat and once at coxswain.

Personal: A chemistry (biochemistry) major who graduated from Sacramento State in the spring of 2021.
