Biography

2001 Season: Missed three meets due to pneumonia before sitting out the final two weeks of the seaosn with an ACL tear…scored 9.900 on bars against Cal State Fullerton and UC Davis…best beam score was 9.800 in the home meet against Boise State.

2000 Season:
Returned to the NCAA Regional where she scored 9.600 on beam…tied her career mark of 9.750 on beam twice (UC Davis and Western Independent Championships)…scored a 9.500 or better on beam 10 out of 11 times.

1999 Season:
Recovering from knee surgery for a torn ACL last February, Baisdon proved to be the most prolific bars worker in Sacramento State history…posted a school record 9.950 on bars on Mar. 14…the score tied Rebecca Seebirt’s 9.950 on vault in 1997 as the highest score every posted by a Hornet on any event…she also received the first perfect 10 by a judge during her record-setting performance…scored 9.500 or higher 11 times on bars during the season…also posted a 9.500 or better on beam seven times…saved her best performance on beam for when it counted most, scoring a season high 9.750 at the NCAA Regionals at Oregon State.

Prior to Sacramento State:
The top all-arounder at USA Elite Gymnastics in Modesto, Calif., as a Level 10 gymnast…graduated from Ceres HS…took first place in the all-around as a Level 9 gymnast at the West Coast Regionals.

Personal: A physial education major with a teaching option…parents are Jack and Christine Baisdon…considers herself an avid country music fan.
