Biography

2007 Season: Named first team all-WAC on the beam after scoring 9.850 to tie for third…opened the year as an all-arounder but a knee injury limited her to three events at the end of the season…scored 38.575 in the first meet of the season to set her career high in the all-around…also set a career best with a 9.850 vault in that same meet…her floor average of 9.739 trailed only Marina Borisova for the best floor average of the team…had only one floor score below 9.675…top floor score was 9.850 at the UC Davis Quardrangular.

2006 Season:
Showed no signs of rust after sitting out a year…was in the beam and floor lineup in 11 of the 12 meets…averaged 9.508 on beam and 9.583 on floor…top beam mark was 9.750 against UC Davis on March 12 and at the WAC Championships…scored a career high 9.875 on floor against San José State on Feb. 17…six of her final seven floor scores in the regular season were at least 9.750…tied for second at the WAC Championships with a 9.800…was in the vault lineup for the first four meets and averaged 9.600…made her collegiate debut on bars at the NCAA West Regional and responded with a team-high 9.675.

2005 Season:
Sat out the season as a redshirt.

2004 Season:
Saw immediate action as a freshman, competing in all four events during the course of the year…focused most of her attention on vault, beam and floor…named first team all-MPSF on beam after averaging 9.681…three of her beam scores rank in the top 10 in school history…including her 9.900 at the Salbasgeon Suites Invitational which is tied for second…finished tied for third at the meet which included Oregon State, Michigan State, BYU and Boise State…top floor score was 9.875 at the MPSF Championships.

Prior to Sacramento State:
Trained at United Gymnastics in Hanford, Calif…qualified for regionals five years in a row…advanced to national in 2001 and placed sixth on vault…never finished lower than third on vault in 2002 and 2003…recorded a top mark on vault of 9.515…career best on floor was 9.500…placed second in the state at Level 9 and was named to the state team.

Personal: Graduated from Lemoore HS in 2003…plans to major in kinesiology and would like to work as a physical therapist after graduation…parents are Mark and Laura Bass.
