Biography

2002 Season: Appeared in limited action on beam due to an ankle injury…tallied a career high 9.250 on Feb. 10 against Boise State…registered team scores in two of three meets…recorded a score of 9.575 during an exhibition on March 8 at San Jose State.

2001 Season: Competed in one meet on floor where she scored 9.550 at Cal State Fullerton…had an exhibition beam score of 9.325 against San Jose State.

2000 Season: Performed exhibitions in three meets (two vaults, one beam)…recorded a season-high 9.200 vault at the Cal Invite.

Prior to Sacramento State: A 1999 graduate of Elsie Allen HS in Santa Rosa, Calif…a Level 9 gymnast who trained at the Santa Rosa Gymnastics Center…was the beam national champion at the USAIGC Level 9 nationals in 1997 after recovering from knee injury…placed fourth in the all-around at the USAG Level 9 state meet in 1999…earned art awards at Allen HS in 1997 and again in 1999…also earned the the school’s Presidential Award for outstanding academic achievement in 1998.

Personal: Will pursue a degree in physical therapy at Sacramento State…parents are Patti and Jeff Williams.
