Sacramento State

1998 Season: The team’s tom competitor on bars, she averaged a Hornet-best 9.373 on the event…an all-around in 10 meets last season for Sacramento State…posted career bests on vault, floor and as an all-arounder during the year.

1997 Season: Competed on all events for the Hornets after spending her freshman year at San Diego State but did not compete for the Aztecs…achieved season-high bars score (9.650) two times vs. UC Davis and at the Western Independent Championship…competed as an all-around one time, scoring 36.725 at UC Davis…season bars average was 9.270.

Prior to Sacramento State: Competed for Chula Vista YMCA, qualifying for the national meet on vault…also participated in diving and cheerleading…was team captain of her high school squad, the Metro League Championship team her senior year.

Personal: Nursing major…parents are Barry and Karen Denis.
