Biography

2001 Season: Was one of the top vaulters on the team until suffering an ACL injury with three weeks left in the year…tied for the team season high with a 9.925 on vault at San Jose State…helped contribute to a program record 48.600 team vault score at that same meet…also recorded a career high 9.675 on floor at Seattle Pacific.

2000 Season:
Proved to be one of the team’s best vaulters by competing in all 13 meets and registering team scores in 12 of those competitions…set her career mark for vault with a 9.700 at the Western Independent Championships.

1999 Season:
A vaulter who saw action in 10 meets last year for the Hornets — including a spot in the rotation at the NCAA Regionals and USAG Nationals, Goold’s vault score was part of the team’s score in six competitions…posted scores above 9.500 twice on vault (including a season best 9.559 vs. Seattle Pacific) and a season best floor score of 9.300.

Prior to Sacramento State:
A member of the Denver School of Gymnastics and a graduate of Wheat Ridge HS in Wheat Ridge, Colo…a Level 9 gymnast, she was a state all-around champion in 1997 and 1998…a five-time Level 9 regional competitor and a participant at the 1998 Western Nationals…named Wheat Ridge HS's Most Valuable Gymnast in 1995…a four-year Blue Honor Roll member at WRHS.

Personal: A communications major…parents are Sandra and David Goold.
