Biography

2004 Season: Competed on vault, beam and floor during the year…had five exhibitions on vault, including two where she scored 9.525…top mark on beam was a 9.525 at Seattle Pacific…top mark on floor was 9.700 at UC Davis.

2003 Season: Participated in three meets and also had two exhibitions during the year…recorded a team score in both of her beam routines (at San Jose State, vs. Cal)…scored 9.475 on floor at UC Davis.

2002 Season: Performed exhibitions in three events (vault, beam, floor) during the season…on beam, she tallied a season high 0.525 on March 3 against Cal…season best floor score was 9.175 against Seattle Pacific on Feb. 15.

Prior to Sacramento State: A member of MEGA Gymnastics in Sugarland, Texas, where she was the Level 9 state vault champion…was second in Level 9 all-around competition in 1998…finished second onv ault at the Level 10 state championships in 2000…was also a Level 10 Junior Olympic national qualifier and placed 13th on vault…placed fifth at the Level 10 state championships in 2001…competed as a regional qualifier from 1997-2001…was voted most improved gymnast in each level of competition.

Personal: Graduate of Elsik HS in Houston…majoring in communication studies…mother is Joyce Turner.
