Biography

2000 Season: Finished the season with career high in three events and competed in all 13 competitions on beam…established a career high on vault with a 9.675 at Cal…also set career high for beam with a 9.850 at Seattle Pacific…scored career best on floor with a 9.750 against Utah State.

1999 Season:
A performer who can compete on all four events, Lutz focused primarily on beam, floor and vault…tied teammates Jami Scoville and Kim Broughton for the team’s highest beam score of the year with a 9.800 against UC Davis…posted career-best marks on beam, floor and vault…in her only all-around performance of the year (the season opener at Cal State Fullerton), she scored a 36.450.

1998 Season:
Competed in every meet, including seven times as an all-around…scored a season-best 9.625 on beam vs. Alaska Anchorage, her highest score on any event…also scored a 9.550 on floor against UC Davis.

Prior to Sacramento State: A member of the Sea Wind Gymnastics Club in Oceanside who placed fourth at Level 9 Regionals in 1997…the 1996 state floor champion…participated in dance for four years at Oceanside’s El Camino HS.

Personal: A liberal studies major…sister is on the Cal State Fullerton gymnastics team…parents are Terry and Terry Lutz.
