Mary Won will serve as a student assistant for the Sacramento State gymnastics team during the 2023 season. Won first came to Sacramento State during the 2020-21 academic year and was a member of the gymnastics team for two seasons. In 2022, she was in the vault lineup in the final nine meets of the season. That year, she scored 9.800 against UC Davis to set her career high. She also competed on floor in three meets and twice on beam.
Won trained at Gold Medal Gymnastics in Chandler, Ariz., where she qualified for the Junior Olympics in 2017 and 2019.
