Amber Koeth

Amber Koeth was named an assistant coach for Sacramento State gymnastics in the summer of 2023. In her position, Koeth will oversee the choreography and music on floor while also assisting on the event.

With Koeth's assistance, the floor team set the school record with a 49.425 against Air Force during the 2024 season. Emma Morgenthaler led the team in that meet, receiving a 9.925 which is tied for fourth in school history. Morgenthaler went on to earn second team all-MPSF honors.

Koeth transitioned to the staff following a decorated career which completed during the 2023 season where she was named the MPSF Specialist of the Year, earned first team all-conference honors on beam and second team on bars and floor. She also returned to an NCAA Regional for the second consecutive season. Koeth made her final meet at The Nest a memorable one as she tied Melissa Genovese's school record on beam and also matched the program record on floor with a 9.950 in each event. She concluded her career ranked second in school history with a beam career beam average of 9.717.
