Former Sacramento State standout Sneha Sharan joined the Hornet coaching staff in the fall of 2025 after a decorated playing career.
Sharan saw immediate success to her coaching tenure as the Hornets won the Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. Sharan assisted in Ella Kraft winning the individual title and Tova Hatton tying for fifth place. The team went on to tally four other top-five finishes in the year, including a tie for second place at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic.
As a student-athlete, Sharan was a three-time all-Big Sky honoree, including being named the conference Player of the Year her final two seasons. As a senior, she set the school single-season scoring record at 71.80 strokes per round. She finished her career ranked seventh in school history with an average of 74.12 strokes per round, was third with 40 career rounds at or below par and 11 rounds in the 60s.
Sharan graduated from Sacramento State with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
