2015 Sand Season
The only player on the team to appear in all 14 matches at the No. 1 spot in the team’s lineup…posted a 3-10 record with Sloan Lovett, and 1-0 with Morgan Stanley…Beal and Lovett won their final two matches of the season, and provided the match-clinching points in 3-2 victories over Boise State and Cal Poly…in the victory over Boise State, Beal and Lovett won via 14-21, 21-17, 15-12 score…played in each of her last 28 matches at the No. 1 spot in the team’s lineup dating back to her sophomore season.
2014 Sand Season
Posted a 6-6 record at the No. 1 spot in the team’s lineup with Katie Aprile…the tandem won six of their final nine matches of the season…with the scored tied at 2-2 on the road against Cal, Beal and Aprile defeated Lara Vukasovic and Sarah Cole, 21-16, 18-21, 15-12, to give the Hornets a 3-2 victory…also helped the Hornets overcome a 2-1 deficit against Cal Poly to win, 3-2, after beating Nicole Kessler and Megan Groess, 21-17, 21-11…also had victories against Boise State, Stanford, San Jose State, and an addition win vs. Cal.
2013 Indoor Season
Named  second team all-Big Sky Conference for the second straight  season…started all 28 matches in which she appeared at rightside  hitter…missed three matches with a back injury…a team co-captain…was a  six-rotation rightside hitter, and finished with averages of 2.98 kills,  2.12 digs, 0.86 blocks and 3.66 points per set while hitting a  career-high .252…finished among the top two Hornets in kills, kills per  set, attempts, blocks and blocks per set…among Big Sky leaders, she  ranked eighth in points per set, and ninth in kills per set…led or tied  for the team lead in kills in 14 of the 28 matches she played…was one of  the team’s best passers, attackers and blockers…never had less than six  kills in any match during the year and recorded 18 contests with double  figures in kills…that included eight double-doubles (kills and  digs)…posted double figures in digs on 10 occasions, including a  career-high 13 twice…as one of the Hornets’ primary passers, she  recorded a team-best .934 service reception percentage, a rare feat to  lead a team in that category as a rightside hitter…of Beal’s 21 aces,  eight came over the last four matches of the season, including three  against both Weber State and Montana State…posted a season-high 19 kills  against both Bucknell and Weber State…also had at least two blocks in  all but two matches, including four or better on 11 occasions…finished  her career with 1,141 kills and 404 total blocks…her 370 assisted blocks  rank as the 10th best mark in school history.
2013 Sand Season
 Played in all eight matches during the program’s inaugural sand season with partner Katie Aprile…played the first six matches of the season at No. 2, before playing at No. 1 during the final two matches of the year…Beal and Aprile posted a team-best 5-3 record during the season…the tandem provided the match-clinching victory at No. 2 to help deliver a 3-2 victory over Cal on April 13…Beal and Aprile went 5-1 at No. 2, and 0-2 at No. 1 in the lineup.
2012 Indoor Season
 A second team all-Big Sky Conference selection after starting all 30   matches and appearing in all 119 sets…averaged 2.69 kills and 1.12   blocks per set while hitting .235…the blocks were the seventh best mark   in the conference…increased her averages to 3.01 kills and 1.14 blocks   per set with a .246 hitting percentage against conference   competition…among Big Sky leaders (conference matches only), the blocks   were the sixth best mark and kills the 10th best…also averaged 3.78   points per set against league foes, sixth best in the conference…over   the team’s final nine matches of the season, Beal hit a team-high .343   with 3.46 kills and 1.21 blocks per set…recorded double figures in kills   on 15 occasions…hit better than .320 five times during a six-match   stretch from Oct. 22-Nov. 9…that included a victory against Northern   Arizona where she had a career-high 22 kills, a .435 hitting percentage   and six digs…also had 20 kills and a career-high 11 digs in the regular   season finale win over Montana…posted double figures in digs three   times…hit a career-best .647 (11-0-17) in a home win against Southern   Utah…also had a career-high 10 blocks in wins over Weber State and   Montana State…had three double-doubles during the season, including 13   kills and 10 blocks against Weber State, and 16 kills and 10 blocks vs.   Montana State.
 
 2011 Indoor Season
 Appeared in 30 matches, including 23 starts at rightside hitter…battled a   knee injury the majority of the season…did not play the final two   regular season matches because of the injury…played in 110 sets…averaged   2.32 kills, 0.96 blocks and 2.87 points per set…against conference   competition, her 0.98 blocks per set were the ninth best mark in the Big   Sky…recorded 10 matches with double figures in kills, including season   highs in both kills (21) and hitting percentage (.567) at home against   Northern Arizona…recorded double digits in kills in three straight   matches over a 5-day stretch, comprised of 15 at San Jose State, 11 vs.   Portland State and 10 vs. Eastern Washington…named Big Sky Player of  the  Week on Oct. 10…an all-tournament selection at the Belmont   Invitational…had a career-high nine blocks against both Georgetown and   Saint Mary’s.
 
 2010 Indoor Season
 Appeared in 29 matches as a freshman, including 22 starts as the team’s   rightside hitter…averaged 2.30 kills, 0.45 digs and 0.68 blocks per set   while hitting .216…the hitting percentage was the best mark among the   team’s regulars…had 253 kills with 119 errors in 619 attacks…among team   leaders, she was third in attacks and kills, and fourth in points  (2.69  pps) and blocks…the Hornets were 7-4 when Beal tallied double  digits in  kills…became the first Sacramento State freshman to earn Big  Sky  Conference Player of the Week honors (Oct. 4) since Lisa Beauchene   accomplished the feat in 2000…named to the Sacramento State  Invitational  all-tournament team…had a season-high 20 kills at home vs.  Idaho  State…had at least three blocks in 17 matches…increased her  numbers to  2.61 kills and 0.79 blocks per set against conference  competition.
 
 High School
 A 2010 graduate of Dixon High School in Dixon, Calif…played four years   of volleyball, and ran two years of track…in volleyball, she was a   two-time team captain and three-time all-Capital Valley Conference   selection (first team as a junior and senior, honorable mention as a   sophomore)…named the conference MVP as a senior after posting a   league-best 4.8 kills per set and ranking fifth in the conference with   3.3 digs per set…the kills were the fifth most in the Sac-Joaquin   Section and she guided the Rams to a 19-11 overall finish and a   second-place league record of 12-2…also led the conference in kills as a   junior with 3.9 per set and was tied for fourth in digs (2.4 per   set)…as a sophomore, she ranked first in the league in aces and second   in blocks…during her final three years, Beal helped lead Dixon High   School to a combined 47-29 overall record, a 29-9 conference mark   (including a league championship in 2008) and three section playoff   appearances.
 
 Personal
 Parents are Jimmy Beal and Leslie Sherlin…a civil engineering   major…played for the Northern California Volleyball Club (NCVC), and the   team’s coaching staff included former Hornet Kristi (Lambert) Deter  and  current Hornet outside hitter Janelle Currey.
