2016 Season: Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the javelin…set his career best with a throw of 183-06 at the UCR Spring Classic…also competed in the pole vault in one meet where he cleared 13-00.25…did not compete during the indoor season.
Prior to Sacramento State: Competed at Chabot JC in Hayward, Calif., for two years…finished third at the Coast Conference Championships in the pole vault and javelin…also competed in the NorCal Championships in the decathlon…best marks were 14-03.00 in the pole vault and 169-09 in the javelin.
High School: Graduated from Newark Memorial HS in 2012…competed in track & field, football and wrestling all four years…was named the school’s male athlete of the year as a senior…earned all-conference honors in the pole vault as a junior and in wrestling as a senior…cleared 13-06.00 in the pole vault for his best…had 24 pins in wrestling as a senior.
Personal: Majoring in business administration…parents are Daniel and Shari Hubby.
