2016 Season: Placed sixth in the shot put at the Big Sky Championships and also qualified for the conference meet in the discus…best shot put was 54-09.50 to finish first at the Causeway Classic…had a put of at least 50-feet in 10 of the 11 meets…best discus throw was 148-10 at the Causeway Classic…indoors, he finished fifth at the Big Sky Championships…set his career best and moved into fourth place with a mark of 54-01.25 at the conference meet.

2015 Season: Earned all-Big Sky honors after placing second in the shot put at the Big Sky Championships with a PR of 56-00.00…that mark placed him fifth in school history in the event…also qualified for the Big Sky meet in the discus…had a season best of 149-03 at the Brutus Hamilton Open…indoors, he placed fourth at the Big Sky Championships following a career best of 53-03.75 which ranks sixth in school history.

2014 Season: Placed fifth at the Big Sky Championships in the shot put and also qualified in the discus…set his PR at the Big Sky meet in the shot put with a mark of 53-04.25…best discus throw was 153-02 at the Causeway Classic…indoors, he advanced to the Big Sky Championships in the shot put…opened the year with a put of 53-00.00 at the Jacksons Invitational which ranks sixth in school history.

2013 Season: Competed in the shot put, discus and hammer during his first outdoor season…best shot put was 51-01.75 at the Aggie Opener…had a discus throw of 142-3 at the Sacramento State Open…indoors, he competed in the shot put and weight throw…moved into 10th place in school history with a put of 50-07.25 at the Jacksons Invitational.

2012 Season: Redshirted during the indoor and outdoor seasons.

High School: A 2011 graduate of North Monterey County HS in Castroville, Calif…competed in track & field, football, baseball and wrestling for the Condors…holds the school record in the shot put (56-06) and discus (161-07)…helped lead the team to a pair of Monterey Bay League titles…was undefeated in conference competition during his final two years…placed fourth at the Central Coast Section meet in the shot put and discus as a junior…was named the school's athlete of the year as a senior.

Personal: Majoring in criminal justice…parents are Stephen and Stacey Casas.
