2016 Season: Finished first in the javelin in three meets before suffering a knee injury which halted her season…had a throw of 135-03 at the UCR Spring Classic which moved her into ninth place in school history…also finished first at the Aggie Open and the Causeway Classic Dual…did not compete indoors.
2015 Season: Competed solely in the javelin…threw 124-03 at the Aggie Open for her best mark…did not compete indoors.
Prior to Sacramento State: Began her collegiate career at Montana where she redshirted in 2011-12…transferred to Glendale College in Glendale, Calif., where she competed in track and basketball for two seasons…earned second team all-Western State Conference in the javelin as a freshman…helped the team win the conference title as a sophomore after scoring in both the javelin and 4x100 relay…best throw was 115-feet…was a two-year team captain as a shooting guard in basketball.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Central Catholic HS in Portland, Ore…played basketball for the Rams.
Personal: Majoring in communication studies…parents are Gus and Jerre Ann Pappelis.
