2015 Season: Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the long jump and triple jump…moved into 10th place in school history with a long jump of 23-11.75 at the Bryan Clay Invitational…best triple jump was 44-07.00 at the Causeway Classic Dual meet…indoors, he placed fourth at the Big Sky Championships in the long jump…also qualified for the meet in the triple jump…his long jump of 23-10.00 at the Big Sky meet is tied for the sixth best in Hornet history…best long jump was 44-07.50 at the Run for the Dream meet.

2014 Season: Redshirted during the outdoor season…indoors, he finished fourth in the long jump and eighth in the triple jump at the Big Sky Championships…long jumped 23-02.50 at the Air Force Team Challenge for his best mark…his triple jump of 43-10.75 at the Big Sky Championships was his career best.

2013 Season: Primarily competed in the long and triple jumps during his first season with the team...season bests were 22-05.25 at the Mondo Mid-Major in the long jump and a TJ of 43-08.50 at the Causeway Classic...indoors, he finished fifth in the long jump at the Big Sky Championships…his bests were 22-02.50 in the long jump and 40-07.00 in the triple jump...both came at the Jacksons Invitational in his first indoor meet.

Prior to Sacramento State: Competed at San Diego Mesa College in 2011-2012…primarly competed in long and triple jump…2011 season best in the long jump was 7.22m (23-08.25)…qualified for 2011 USA Junior Nationals in long jump.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Rancho Bernardo HS…competed in the 100, 200, 4x100, Long jump and triple jump…season best in the long jump was 22-08.50…placed second place in the long jump of CIF San Diego section championships.

Personal: Majoring in communication studies…parents are David and Olvia Young.
