2017 Season: Ran the 800 and 1500 during the outdoor season…ran 2:12.68 at the Causeway Classic for her best 800…fastest 1500 was 4:45.15 at the Hornet Invitational…indoors, she qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 800 and 3K…also competed in the 1000 and mile in one meet…season bests included 2:16.87 in the 800 at the Husky Classic and 11:47.76 in the 3K at the Big Sky meet.

2016 Season: Primarily competed in the 800, running in six meets…set her PR with a time of 2:16.91 at the Causeway Classic Dual…ran the 1500 in one meet, posting a time of 5:06.41 at the Hornet Invitational…did not compete during the indoor season.

Prior to Sacramento State: Competed in track and field and cross country at Azusa Pacific as a freshman and Cerritos JC as a sophomore…finished fifth at the California State JC Championships after running 2:15.48 in 2015…set her PR at the Southern California Championships where she posted a time of 2:14.22 to place fifth in the finals…other bests included 1:02.25 in the 400 and 4:54.13 in the 1500…ran 2:20.54 in the 800, 5:09.10 in the 1500 for her fastest times at APU.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Downey HS.

Personal: Majoring in kinesiology…parents are Giovana Canon and Juan Orozco…has three younger siblings.
