2013 Season: Was a first team NCAA All-American after placing sixth in the javelin at the NCAA Championships…also placed sixth at the NCAA West Preliminary…set the school record several times during the year…best throw came at the Big Sky Championships where he won the event with a toss of 239-06…threw over 220-feet in seven meets…did not compete during the indoor season.
2012 Season: Earned all-Big Sky Conference honors after placing second in the javelin…qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary in the event and placed 14th…set the school record at the Big Sky meet with a throw of 220-02…had throws of 212-feet or longer in his final three meets…indoors, he moved into sixth place in school history with a heptathlon score of 4,517 at the UW Multi.
2011 Season: Threw the javelin in eight meets during the outdoor season…finished first in two meets, including the Brutus Hamilton Open…personal best of 197-00 came at the Mondo Mid-Major Challenge…did not compete indoors.
2010 Season: Competed at the Aggie Opener in the javelin for his lone competition of the year…did not compete indoors.
High School: Graduated from Yelm HS in 2009…competed in track and basketball all four seasons…best marks were 205-00 in the javelin, 39.13 in the 300-hurdles and 15.10 in the 110-hurdles…as a senior, he finished first in the javelin, 300-hurdles, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay in the same invitational.
Personal: Majoring in psychology…parents are Mason and Judy Elvrom.
