2016 Season: Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 1500…set his career best in the event at the Mt. SAC Relays after running 3:50.62…also set PRs in the 800 (1:54.28) and 3K (8:38.39) during the season…indoors, he competed in just one meet, running the mile and 3K at the UW Open…set career bests in both events after running 4:19.23 and 8:42.99.

2015 Season: Competed in the 800, 1500, 3K and 5K during the year…best times were 1:57.31 at the Beach Invitational in the 800 and 3:59.27 in the 1500 at the Mt. SAC Relays…indoors, he ran the 800 at one meet and the mile in two…best mile time was 4L29.15 at the Bronco Invitational.

2014 Season: Redshirted during the outdoor season…indoors, he qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 800…also ran the mile during the season…fastest times came at the Husky Classic where he ran 1:55.85 in the 800 and 4:20.14 in the mile.

Prior to Sacramento State: Attended American River JC in Sacramento for two seasons…competed in cross country and track for the Beavers…helped the team to state titles in cross country…placed 14th at the state meet in 2012…in track, he finished third at the California JC state meet in the 1500…best time during the year was 3:53.75…other career bests inclure 1:56.66 in the 800 and 14:59.98 in the 5K.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Center HS in Antelop, Calif…competed in cross country, track and wrestling for the Cougars…placed 16th at the state meet as a senior in cross country and was a two-time all-Pioneer Valley League selection…in track, he set the school record in the 1600 (4:21) and 3200 (9:38)…was the PVL champion on both events over his final two seasons…won three individual conference titles in wrestling…was named the most athletic member of the school.

Personal: Majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology…parents are Michael and Juanita Leon.
