2017 Season: Was the Big Sky champion in the heptathlon and advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary in the high jump…scored a career high 5,322 points in the heptathlon for the second best mark in school history and the best since 1985…set career bests in two events en route to the title, including a 9-foot PR in the javelin…cleared 5-08.75 in the high jump at the Hornet Invitational for her career best and moved into fourth place in school history…tied for ninth place in the open high jump at the Big Sky Championships and also qualified for the long jump…indoors, she was the conference champion in the high jump and finished fourth in the pentathlon…cleared 5-08.00 at the conference meet to claim second place in the Hornet record book…her pentathlon score of 3,656 ranked fourth all-time at Sacramento State.
2016 Season: Redshirted during the outdoor season…indoors, she earned all-Big Sky honors in the high jump and qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the pentathlon…set her PR after clearing 5-07.75 at the Big Sky meet…that mark tied her for third place in school history…scored a season best 3,469 in the pentathlon at the UW Invitational…set career bests during the season in the 60 (8.11), 800 (2:30.51) and 60H (9.17).
2015 Season: Placed fourth at the Big Sky Championships in the heptathlon after scoring 4,695 points…tallied 4,713 points at the Aztec Invitational which ranks ninth in school history…also qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the high jump…cleared 5-05.75 in a pair of meets for her season best…top javelin throw was 124-05 at the Big Sky meet…indoors, she was third in the pentathlon at the Big Sky Championships with a season best of 3,656 points…that total placed her fourth in the Hornet record book…also qualified for the main program of the Big Sky meet in the high jump and long jump…season bests in those events were 5-06.50 in the high jump and 18-03.75 in the long jump.
Prior to Sacramento State: Attended Clackamas CC in Oregon City, Ore., for two years…was the NWAACC champion in the heptathlon as a senior after scoring 4,905 points…was the team MVP and earned all-NWAACC honors following her freshman season.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Hidden Valley HS in Grants Pass, Ore…was first team all-state 4A in the high jump and triple jump as a senior…best high jump was 5-05 at the Crater Classic…set her PRs in the long jump (17-10) and triple jump (37-02) at the Skyline Conference Championships…also played volleyball where she was first team all-state 4A following her senior season.
Personal: Majoring in kinesiology…parents are Tom and Tina Venzon.
