2016 Season: Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 800…ran 1:54.24 at the Beach Invitational for his fastest 800 during the year…other bests were 51.58 in the 400 at the Sacramento State Open and 4:07.25 in the 1500 at the Hornet Invitational…indoors, he qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 800…he ran 1:53.99 at the UW Open for his PR and the ninth-fastest time in school history.

2015 Season: Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 800…ran 1:51.28 at the Causeway Classic Dual meet for his fastest time…best 1500 was 3:54.78 at the Mt. SAC Relays…indoors, he competed in the 800 in two meets and the mile in another…best 800 time was 1:55.50 at the Husky Classic.

Prior to Sacramento State: Attended Glendale JC for two years where he competed in cross country and track…earned all-state honors as a sophomore in track as a freshman and was named all-Western States Conference in both sports as a sophomore…helped the team win the WSC title and finish second in the state in cross country in 2012…was part of the track team which captured the conference title in 2013…finished fifth at the state meet in the 1,500 after running 3:59.53…best times were 1:54.79 in the 800 and 3:58.32 in the 1,500.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Cleveland HS in Reseda, Calif…ran cross country and track all four years for the Cavaliers…was sixth in the 1,600 at the LA City finals as a senior after running 4:28.

Personal: Majoring in film studies…mother is Carina Vasquez.
