2020 Season
- Scored for the team in the 60, long jump and triple jump at the Big Sky Indoor Championships.
- Finished in fifth place in the 60 after running a career best 6.86 in the final which is tied for the sixth best in program history.
- Was seventh in the long jump with a leap of 22-11.25 to set his season high.
- Also placed seventh in the triple jump in his only meet of the year in the event. Had a career best of 47-03.50.
2019 Season
- Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 100, high jump, long jump and triple jump.
- Scored for the team by placing sixth in the long jump with a PR of 24-00.75.
- Set a career best in the triple jump with a leap of 46-06.25 at the Mondo Team Challenge.
- Other legal best marks were 10.83 in the 100 at the Causeway Classic, 22.37 in the 200 and 6-06.00 in the high jump at the at the Mondo Team Challenge.
- Anchored the 4x100 relay at the Mondo Teach Challenge and helped the team to a season best time of 41.74.
- Indoors, he competed in the 60, high jump and long jump at the Big Sky Championships.
- Set PRs in all three events during the season with a time of 7.01 in the 60 and a long jump of 23-07.50 at the Ed Jacoby Invitational as well as a successful attempt at
- 6-04.25 in the high jump at the Big Sky Championships.
2018 Season
- Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 100, high jump and long jump as a true freshman.
- Scored for the team in two events by placing fifth in the long jump and eighth in the high jump.
- Jumped a wind-aided 23-09.00 at the Big Sky Championships for his best mark of the year.
- Top legal distance was 23-01.75 at the UC Riverside Spring Classic.
- Cleared 6-06.25 in the high jump at the conference meet for his career best.
- Fastest 100 was 10.94 at the Causeway Classic.
- Indoors, he placed ninth at the Big Sky Championships in the long jump.
- Had a career best of 23-01.25 at the meet.
- Other season bests included 7.09 in the 60 at the Bronco Invitational and 6-01.50 at the New Mexico Classic.
High School
- A 2017 graduate of Central Catholic HS in Modesto, Calif.
- Played football and ran track for the Raiders.
- Was the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters champion in the long jump as a senior.
- Had a PR of 23-07.00 at that meet which was 15 inches beyond his previous season best.
- Finished sixth at the master's meet in the 110-hurdles and was seventh in the high jump.
- Finished second at the Sac-Joaquin Section Div. III meet in the high jump with a PR of 6-04.00.
- Also played football where he was named second team all-state medium school by Cal-Hi Sports as a senior.
- Was the Valley Oak League Defensive Player of the Year.
Personal
- Majoring in kinesiology.
- Plays football at Sacramento State and was a first team all-Big Sky selection in 2019 at cornerback.
- Parents are Dwight Bland and Adrienne Topkins.
- Brother, Keane, ran track at Fresno State and LSU.
