2013 Season: Competed in the 1500, 3K, 5K and 10K during the outdoor season…placed seventh in the 10K at the Big Sky Championships…set PRs with a 5K time of 14:32.77 and 10K time of 21:42.20…did not compete indoors.

2012 Cross Country: Was in the lineup for all eight meets…ranked second among Hornets at the Santa Clara Invitational with a season best 8K time of 25:43.2.

2012 Season: Ran the 1500 and steeplechase at the Big Sky Championships…set a PR in the 1500 with a best of 3:56.51 at the Aggie Open…best steeplechase time was 9:26.90 at the Mondo Mid-Major Challenge…did not compete during the indoor season.

2011 Cross Country: Redshirted during the season.

2011 Season: Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the steeplechase and 5K…his time of 9:15.23 set a PR in steeple…ran 14:35.13 in the 5K for his best time…both marks came at the Big Sky Championships…did not compete indoors.

2010 Cross Country: Was in the lineup for every meet for the Hornets…best 8K time was 25:35.5 at the Santa Clara Invitational.

2010 Season: Primarily ran the 5K and the steeplechase during the outdoor season…best 5K time was 15:12.69 at the Cal-Nevada Championships…ran 9:39.79 at the Sacramento State Open for his top steeplechase time…redshirted during the indoor season.

2009 Cross Country: Competed in seven of the team’s eight meets as a true freshman…led the team at the USF Invitational — his first collegiate event…ran 25:49 at the Santa Clara Invitational for his fastest 8K time.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Del Campo HS in Fair Oaks, Calif...competed in four years of cross country and track & field...was twice named all-metro in cross country by the Sacramento Bee...finished 15th at the state cross country championships in 2008...placed eighth at the state championships in the mile as a junior with a time of 4:15.4...other top times are 1:57 in the 800, 8:56 in the 3,200 and 15:26 in the 5K.

Personal: An environmental science major...parents are Daryl Mitchell and Zoe Boughgton-Mitchell.
