One of the most decorated athletes in school history, RenishaRobinson begins her first season as an assistant coach atSacramento State. In her current role, Robinson will assist withmiddle distance and distance runners.

A two-time All-American in the 800 and four-time NCAAChampionships qualifier, Robinson helped the Hornets to seven BigSky Conference team titles during her career. As a senior, she ran2:05.15 in the NCAA semifinals of the 800 to place 16th overall andrecord the second-fastest time in school history.

The San Jose, Calif., native won the indoor 800 as a freshman forher first Big Sky individual title. She went on to win the indoor800 again as a sophomore and won the indoor and outdoor 800 as ajunior. During her entire indoor career and through her first threeseasons outdoors, Robinson was never beat by another Big Skyathlete in the 800 — trailing only All-American teammate LeaWallace.

Robinson also had success in cross country where she earnedall-Big Sky honors in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
