Sacramento State

Gabriel Ortiz started with Sacramento State sports medicine as an assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2023. Gabriel currently works with the gymnastics program. 

Ortiz grew up in San Diego, Calif., and received his bachelor of science in athletic training from Grand Canyon in Phoenix. He later received a master of education in human relations from Northern Arizona. During his time at NAU, he worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with Lumberjack football.

Gabriel’s personal interests include being outdoors, spending time with friends, expanding his palate, working out, playing basketball, and listening to music.
