Biography

2018 Season
Received a medical redshirt after missing the season with injury.

2017 Season
Played in 19 games, including 15 starts as a true freshman…all 15 of those starts came at designated player…started the final 15 games of the season…was third on the team with a .327 batting average, finishing 17-for-52 with five runs scored, four doubles, three homers, nine RBIs, five walks, a .577 slugging percentage and a .386 on-base percentage…during the Big Sky Tournament, she combined to go 4-for-9 with two runs and a homer…had four straight multiple-hit games from April 21-28 in which she went 8-for-15 with two doubles, a homer and five RBIs…despite starting just 15 games, she ranked sixth on the team with eight multiple-hit games.

High School

A 2016 graduate of Castro Valley High School in the Bay Area…played four years of varsity softball for the Trojans and one season of basketball…was the team captain of the softball team each of her final three seasons…helped the team to a combined overall record of 79-28 and 44-3 in the West Alameda County League…that includes four consecutive league championships and four straight appearances in the North Coast Section playoffs…a four-time first team all-conference and Scholar-Athlete selection…as a senior, she was named Cal Hi third team all-state, second team all-Metro and first team all-league after batting .452 with seven doubles, five home runs, 25 RBIs and a 1.326 ops in 22 games…team leader in home runs during her senior, sophomore and freshmen seasons, and hit well above .400 during her career…the 2016 Castro Valley team reached the quarterfinals of the North Coast Div. I Section tournament, and the 2015 team defeated Amador Valley High School, who was ranked second in the state, to win the 2015 Queen of the Mountain Tournament…as a freshman, she went 3-for-5 with seven RBIs during the final game or the regular season to help the Trojans clinch the WACC championship…hit a league-leading nine home runs as a sophomore.

A business administration major…parents are Kyle and Danielle Shaw…played club ball for the Lady Hustle of Livermore.
