2019 Season
An honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection, marking the third time during her four-year career she was named all-league (2016, 2018)…one of three Hornets to start all 56 games (49 at third base, seven at shortstop)…finished her career starting 121 consecutive games dating back to her sophomore season…hit .288 (47-for-163) with 37 runs, 12 doubles, one triple, four homers and 29 RBIs…also walked 25 times and finished with a .415 on-base percentage…was 9-for-11 in stolen base attempts…had a .964 fielding percentage and led the Big Sky with 130 assists…named to the Big Sky all-tournament team after batting .385 (5-for-13) with four runs, three walks and a pair of RBIs over four games…hit .365 with runners on base, and .327 with runners in scoring position…eight multiple-RBI games were third most on the team…ranked among the Big Sky’s top 10 players in nine offensive categories, including second in hit-by-pitches (11), third in runs, and fourth in both doubles and walks…among Sacramento State’s Div. I career leaders (1990-pres.), she ranks among the top 10 players in numerous categories, including second in steals (37) and walks (80), third in doubles (37), fourth in runs scored (118), sixth in assists (405), seventh in on-base percentage (.403) and 10th in starts (202).
2018 Season
An honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection after starting all 51 of the Hornets’ games at shortstop…was fourth on the team with a .299 batting average…in 154 at-bats, she collected 46 hits, 22 runs, nine doubles, 18 RBIs, 11 walks and a .357 on-base percentage…stole a team-high tying 11 bases on just 12 attempts…hit .297 in conference play and .349 with runners in scoring position…10 of her 22 RBIs came with two outs, third most on the team…had 11 multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI games…had four games with at least three hits, second most on the squad…hit safely in each of the last seven games of the regular season, including 3-for-3 with a run and two RBIs in a win over Montana which clinched the Big Sky regular season championship for the Hornets.
2017 Season
Played in 47 of a possible 50 games, and started all 47 of those games at shortstop…finished the season batting .244 (31-for-127) with 25 runs scored, four doubles, four home runs, 15 RBIs, 28 walks and a .405 on-base percentage…was also 7-for-7 in stolen base opportunities…ranked among the top two Hornets in runs scored, walks, hit-by-pitches (7) and stolen bases…finished with 11 multiple-hit games…among Big Sky leaders, she ranked third in walks, hit-by-pitches and sacrifices (8)…batted .286 with runners in scoring position and .324 with two outs…had a season-best streak of 15 consecutive games reaching base safely from Feb. 10-March 12…homered twice against CSUN on Feb. 25…had 3-hit games against DePaul and Northern Colorado…had a pair of multiple-hit games during the Hornets’ run at the Big Sky Tournament, which included scoring runs in all three games.
2016 Season
An honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection and Sacramento State Athletics Female Newcomer of the Year…played and started in all but two games…that includes 48 starts (47 at shortstop, one at third base)…hit .326 (47-for-144) with 34 runs scored, 12 doubles, two triples, a home run, 19 RBIs, 16 walks, 11 hit-by-pitches, a .433 on-base percentage and 10 stolen bases…ranked among the top two Hornets in runs, doubles, triples, walks, hit-by-pitches, on-base percentage, stolen bases and sacrifices (7)…was 10-for-12 on stolen base attempts, and the 10 stolen bases are tied for the eighth best mark in Sacramento State’s Div. I single-season era (1990-pres.)…reached base safely in 42 of her 48 games played…crushed Big Sky pitching to the tune of a .406 batting average in league games…also in Big Sky play, she scored a team-high tying 18 runs in 21 games to go along with 11 RBIs, a .609 slugging percentage, .500 on-base percentage and 1.109 ops…hit .333 (16-for-48) with two outs, and 12 of her RBIs came with two outs in an inning (tied for second most on the team)…named the Big Sky Player of the Week on April 11 after reaching base safely in 12 of her 14 plate appearances during a three-game sweep of Northern Colorado…batted leadoff for the Hornets in 32 games.
High School
A 2015 graduate of Serrano High School in Phelan, Calif…played four years of varsity softball for the Diamondbacks…made appearances at second base, shortstop, third base and pitcher during her career…a three-time first team all-Mojave River League selection, Rasmussen was the league’s Player of the Year and Victorville Daily Press Athlete of the Year as a senior after hitting .655 with seven home runs, three triples, 10 doubles, 22 RBIs, a .747 on-base percentage, a 1.294 slugging percentage and a monster ops of 2.040…the on-base percentage was 27th in the nation, 11th in the state and fourth in the Southern Section…during her final three years with the team, Rasmussen combined to hit .531 with 96 runs scored, 17 doubles, 10 triples, 14 home runs, 34 stolen bases and 52 RBIs in 74 games…that included a .634 on-base percentage, .913 slugging percentage, 1.547 ops and an average of 1.3 runs scored per game over that span…hit .655 as a senior, .507 as a junior and .462 as a sophomore.
Personal
Parents are Pat and Lori Rasmussen…a kinesiology major who is on pace to graduate from Sacramento State in the fall of 2019…played nine years of travel ball for various teams…was teammates with Savanna Corr on Cal Lite.
