Biography

2020 Season
Started all 25 games in which she appeared during a shortened season…each of those 25 starts came at shortstop…hit .313 (21-for-67) with 12 runs, five doubles, 10 RBIs and a .365 on-base percentage…hit .368 with runners in scoring position…ranked second on the team with seven multiple-hit games…led the Big Sky with five sacrifices…the batting average was the 12th best mark in the Big Sky, and third best among Hornet regulars…ranked second in the league in assists (55) and seventh in chances (105)…hit safely in eight of the first nine games of the season, which included a five-game hitting streak (Feb. 9-15).

2019 Season
An honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection as a true freshman…played in 55 of the team’s 56 games…started 54 of those contests - 49 starts at shortstop, three at second base and two at designated player…hit .269 (43-for-160) with 31 runs, five doubles, two triples, four homers and 22 RBIs…was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts…the 31 runs were ninth most in the Big Sky…named the Big Sky Player of the Week on April 8 after hitting safely in five straight games, which included home runs in back-to-back games against 24th-ranked Stanford…started all 17 conference games, and hit .294 with 11 runs scored, three doubles and a pair of homers…had 10 multiple-hit games…had a season-best seven game hitting streak from Feb. 16-March 3.

High School

A 2018 graduate of Knight High School in Palmdale, Calif…played four years of varsity softball for the Hawks…part of a Hawks team that combined for a 87-25 overall record and a 51-5 mark in the Golden League during her four seasons…that included a pair of undefeated league championships (14-0) in 2016 and 2017…advanced to the quarterfinals of the CIF Div. III Southern Section playoffs each of those seasons…her freshman team went 12-2 in league and advanced to the second round of sections, and senior team went 11-3 and reached the first round of sections…played both shortstop and center field for the Hawks…a three-time first team all-league and all-area selection after hitting above .500 each of her last three years…as s junior, she hit .510 (51-for-100) with 16 home runs, nine doubles, four triples, seven stolen bases and 37 RBIs…as a sophomore, she batted .514 (54-for-105) with 47 runs, 13 doubles, four triples, 10 stolen bases and 33 RBIs.

Personal
Parents are Michael and Debra…a child and adolescent development major…played for the So Cal Choppers of Santa Clarita, Calif…in 2015, she was part of the Chopper team that won the Platinum national title at the Triple Crown/USA Nationals…Graves and 12 of her travel ball teammates, including Sacramento State teammate Alyssa Nunez, committed to play at Div. I institutions.
