2023 Season
Played in 30 games, including 15 starts (two at second base, 13 at designated player)…hit .300 (15-for-50) with four walks and a .375 on-base percentage…hit .500 (5-for-10) with a pair of RBIs in pinch hitting roles…hit safely in eight of nine games during a stretch from March 25-April 11…had four hits and three RBI during a series sweep at Montana…hit .375 with runners in scoring position.
2022 Season
Played in 45 games, including 28 starts…27 starts at second base, and one at designed player…hit .389 in conference play with a .421 on-base percentage…had a start vs. Southern Utah in which she was 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored…hit .346 with runners in scoring position…started more games at second base than any other Hornet.
2021 Season
Played in 27 games, including 15 starts…each of those 15 starts came at second base…hit .250 (13-for-52) with a .304 on-base percentage…had three hits on two occasions, a 3-for-3 performance vs. Northern Colorado, and 3-for-5 against Weber State…in the three-game series vs. Weber State (the eventual Big Sky regular season champion), Gresham was 6-for-12…upper her average to .317 in conference play, the fifth best mark on the Hornets…committed just two errors in 48 total chances.
2020 Season
Played five games in a shortened season as a true freshman, including one start at second base…walked in her collegiate plate appearance, and hit a home run in her first official at-bat, a two-run shot against Quinnipiac…had three pinch hit appearances, and one as a pinch runner…finished the season 1-for-3 with two runs, two walks, a homer, two RBIs, a sacrifice and a .600 on-base percentage.
High School
A 2019 graduate of Davis Senior High School in Davis, Calif…played four years of varsity softball for the Blue Devils…was a four-time all-Delta League selection, earning first team honors during her junior and senior seasons, and second team accolades as a freshman and sophomore…during her final three seasons, she combined to hit .415 with a .466 on-base percentage, including 22 doubles and 57 RBIs over 66 games…struck out just 19 times in 223 plate appearances…as a junior, she hit .500, which ranked among the top five hitters in the Delta League…also had a .563 on-base percentage and .758 slugging percentage that year…had a walk-off home run to beat Franklin High School during her junior season.
Personal
Parents are Ben and Amy Samrick…a child development major who graduated in May of 2023…played travel ball for the Batbusters, KG Hitters and Stingers out of Sacramento.
