2012 Season

Appeared in 39 games, including 33 starts at designated player…started the final 31 games of the season…hit .262 (27-103) with six doubles, two home runs, 17 RBIs, eight walks and four sacrifices…her 17 RBIs were tied for the fifth best mark on the team…against conference competition, she hit .304 with two home runs and 10 RBIs in 19 games…had six multi-RBI games, which were the third best mark on the team…over her final 12 games of the season, she hit .314 (11-35)…hit in five different spots in the team’s batting order, including 15 starts in the No. 6 position.

High School
A 2011 graduate of Livermore High School…was a four-year varsity starter on the softball team…also played for the soccer squad…in softball, she was a four-time-time all-East Bay Athletic League selection (first team twice, second team twice)…as a senior, she was first team all-league selection after hitting .457 with a .548 on-base percentage, .829 slugging percentage, 24 runs, six home runs and 31 RBIs…led the team in virtually every offensive statistical category…committed just three errors all season (.973 fielding percentage) while playing first base, shortstop and pitcher…was an honorable mention all-state selection during a 2009 season in which she hit .480 with a .500 on-base percentage, a .783 slugging percentage and a league-leading eight home runs…that season, she led Livermore High School to its first North Coast Section Div. I championship in school history after hitting a two-run homer in a 2-0 victory over Freedom High School in the title game…that squad finished the year 24-0 overall and 13-0 in league play…posted at least a .355 batting average and a .495 on-base percentage each of her four seasons with the Cowboys.

Personal
Parents are Jay and Becky Taylor…an undeclared major…played in 2011 for the NorCal Shockers and 2010 for the NorCal Outlaws…at the 16-under ESPN Premier National Championships in 2010, she ranked among the top 10 players at the tournament in six different offensive categories…during the 2010 ASA summer season for the Outlaws, she batted .583 with a 1.291 slugging percentage.
