2021 Season
Played in 32 games, including 20 starts…part of the Hornets’ leadership team…started games at four different positions - shortstop (8), second base (6), right field (5) and center field (1)…had 45 at-bats during the season…was used as a pinch hitter on four occasions, and a pinch runner on six occasions…as a pinch hitter, she was 1-for-3 with a walk…a Big Sky all-academic selection…also an NFCA Scholar-Athlete.
2020 Season
Played in 17 games, including eight starts…started at five different positions, including four at second base, one at shortstop, one in left field, one in center field, and one at designated player…hit in five different spots in the batting order…hit .261 (6-for-23) with nine runs, two doubles, a homer and four RBIs…the homer was the first of her collegiate career…in that game (against Hawai’i), she was 2-for-3 with a run, double, homer and two RBIs…that was part of a stretch where she hit safely in four straight games…pinch hit three times, and was inserted as a pinch runner on six occasions…hit .375 with runners in scoring position…a Big Sky all-academic selection.
2019 Season
Played in 26 games, including eight starts…each of those starts came at second base…had four appearances as a pinch hitter, and 11 as a pinch runner…had a pair of hits against both 24th-ranked Stanford and Montana…in the Montana game, she was 2-for-3 with two runs, a double and a triple…committed just one error in the field.
2018 Season
Did not play because of injury.
High School
A 2017 graduate of Whitney High School in Rocklin…played three years of varsity softball for the Wildcats…in 66 career varsity games, she batted .381 (74-for-194) with 40 runs scored, a .429 on-base percentage, .510 slugging percentage and .939 ops…struck out just 15 times, or once every 12.9 at-bats…helped the team improve upon its overall and conference record every season of her career, culminating in the team finishing 20-9 overall and 10-5 in the Capital Valley Conference as a senior…was named honorable mention all-Metro in 2015 by the Sacramento Bee.
Personal
Parents are Kevin and Teresa Hargis…a business administration major (minor in Art) who will graduate in the fall of 2021…played travel ball for Hype Fastpitch and Team California.
