Biography

2017 Season
Did not play during the 2017 season while taking a redshirt.

2016 Season
An honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection after starting the final 30 games of the season at third base…a midyear transfer, Olcott wasn’t cleared to play until the middle of March…once cleared, she was a fixture at third base…in 95 at-bats, she hit .326 (31-for-95) with five doubles, four home runs, 22 RBIs, a .505 slugging percentage and .383 on-base percentage…scored 20 runs despite playing just 31 games…hit .341 (14-for-41) with runners in scoring position…tied for second on the team with 12 two-out RBIs…hit .348 in conference play with four home runs and 20 RBIs in 21 games…the 20 RBIs were a team high and she averaged nearly one RBI per game in league play (0.95)…committed just one error during her final 25 games at third base, and finished with just three during the entire season (.965 fielding percentage)…had three different hitting streaks of at least four games long.

At Sacramento City College:
Played her sophomore season (2015) as an infielder at Sacramento City College…named first team all-NorCal after playing 41 games for the Panthers…hit .387 (48-for-124) with 42 runs scored, 13 doubles, three triples, 10 home runs, 34 RBIs, 17 stolen bases, a .465 on-base percentage and a massive 1.247 ops…struck out just 12 times in 124 at-bats…hit safely in 34 of 41 games, including separate hitting streaks of nine games, eight games and seven games…helped Sac City to a 25-16 overall record and an 11-10 mark in league play.

At Dickinson State: Played her freshman season (2014) at Dickinson State of the NAIA ranks in Dickinson, N.D…helped the Blue Hawks to a 39-15 overall record and the North Star Athletic Association Tournament championship…played in 45 games, starting 41 of those games as an infielder…hit .306 (30-for-98) with 20 runs scored, five doubles, four home runs and 17 RBIs…also had a .382 on-base percentage and was 8-for-8 in stolen base opportunities.

High School
A 2013 graduate of El Dorado High School in Placerville…competed in softball, volleyball and swimming for the Cougars…was a first team all-Sierra Valley Conference selection and the team’s defensive player of the year as a senior…also a second team all-region selection as a junior.

Parents are Jeff and Debra…a communication studies major…played club ball for the California Grapettes.
