2025 Season
• An honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection
• Played in 30 games, including 28 starts (all at second base)
• Hit .238, but had a team-high .484 on-base percentage
• Walked 14 times and was hit by a pitch a team-high seven times
• In Big Sky play, she had a .457 on-base percentage - eighth best in the conference
• Committed just five errors all season at second base
• Reached base safely in at least one plate appearance in 22 of her 28 starts
• In a win at Montana, she was 1-for-1 with two runs, two walks, a double and two RBIs
• A Big Sky all-academic selection for the second straight year

2024 Season
• Played in 37 games in her first season with the Hornets, including 30 starts (29 at second base, once at pitcher).
• Had 47 at-bats, seven walks and six sacrifices.
• Had a pair of hits at the Big Sky Tournament.
• In her lone appearance in the circle, Birth threw a nine-inning complete game in a 4-3 road win at Weber State.
• In that game, she allowed just five hits with seven strikeouts.
• A Big Sky all-academic selection

Prior to Sacramento State
• Played her first collegiate season (2023) at Oregon State of the Pacific-12 Conference.
• Played in five games for the Beavers, including a pair of starts at second base.

High School
• A 2022 graduate of Del Oro High School in Loomis.
• Played four years of varsity softball.
• A three-time first team all-Sierra Foothill League selection (lost majority of the 2020 season to the pandemic).
• Named first team all-Sac Joaquin Section, first team all-Metro and first team all-league as a junior (2021) after batting .368 with 30 runs, six doubles, nine homers and 26 RBIs in 22 games.
• Also had seven wins and a 2.23 ERA as a pitcher that season.
• A first team all-league selection and team captain during her senior season (2022) after helping lead Del Oro to a Sac-Joaquin Div. II Section championship.
• Maintained a 4.0 GPA all four years of high school.

Personal
• Daughter of Steve and Jennifer Birch.
• A business major.
• Played travel ball for the California Breeze, and was selected to play in the PGF All-American game in 2022.
• Mother, Jennifer, played softball at Oklahoma (1992-94).
• Aunt, Lisa Sherman, played softball at Middle Tennessee (2001-02).
• Uncle, Bill Sherman, played football at Sacramento State (2006-09).
