2021 Season
Played in 30 of the Hornets’ 32 games, starting on 29 of those occasions…each of those 29 starts came in center field…was a member of the Hornets’ leadership team…hit .257 (19-for-74) with 11 runs scored…was a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen base attempts…ended the season on a six-game hitting streak, which included hitting safely in all three games of the Hornets’ run at the Big Sky Tournament…the six-game hitting streak was the Hornets’ second longest of the season…was hitting .556 through the first five games of the season before an ankle injury limited her physically the remainder of the year…finished career 17-for-20 in stolen base attempts, stealing 15 straight successful bags over her final two seasons.

2020 Season
One of four Hornets to play in all 26 games in a shortened season…that included 25 starts in center field…hit .273 (21-for-77) with 11 runs scored, and was a perfect 7-for-7 in stolen base opportunities…committed just one error all season…had a five-game hitting streak (Feb. 21-26), and hit safely in 11 of the final 15 games of the season…had a career-high three hits in the season opener against Cal Baptist where she went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and RBI…tied that career high when she went 3-for-4 with a run scored and double in a road win at rival UC Davis.

2019 Season
Played in 29 games, including four starts (three starts in left field, one in center)…in six appearances as a pinch hitter, she was 1-for-4 with two walks…also pinch ran on 16 occasions, scoring seven times…finished the season with eight runs scored, two hits, two walks and a stolen base.

2018 Season
Played in 34 games, including two starts at designated player…had a team-best 26 appearances as a pinch runner, scoring a run on six of those occasions…also had four pinch-hit appearances…had 15 at-bats during the season while scoring eight runs and swiping one base…had hits against Cal and Howard.

High School
A 2017 graduate of Martin Luther King High School in Riverside, Calif…played one year of varsity softball team at Martin Luther King…played 11 years for Explosion Softball of Riverside…during the summer of 2016 with Explosion, she hit .415 with 35 stolen bases…in 71 games during the 2015 travel ball season, she struck out just five times…played 11 games over two days at the 2015 Triple Crown Tournament…was featured on the FloSoftball Class of 2017 Watch List…lone season of high school softball ball was her freshman year…competed four years as a sprinter on the Martin Luther King HS track and field team…racked up six gold medals and nine silver medals for the Wolves…in 2016, she ran the first leg for the 4x100 meter relay team which finished first out of 24 schools at the annual Rancho Bernardo track meet…in 2015, she finished second in the Big 8 Conference in both the 100 and 200-meter finals…her personal record in the 100-meter dash is 12.1 seconds, and 25.2 seconds in the 200-meters.

Parents are Robert and Carla Guzman…a communication studies major who is on pace to graduate in the fall of 2021.
