Biography

2025 Season
• Named second team all-Big Sky Conference in her second season with the Hornets
• The only Hornet to start all 50 games during the season (42 in right field, 8 in center field)
• One of the Big Sky’s top hitters, Lira batted .371 (59-for-159) with 11 doubles, four triples, 10 home runs, 44 RBIs, 15 walks, a .679 slugging percentage, .427 on-base percentage and 1.106 ops
• Ranked among the Big Sky’s top 10 players in 10 different offensive categories, including second in RBIs, fifth in hits and slugging percentage, and sixth in average and home runs
• Her 44 RBIs are the fifth best single-season mark in program history, and most by a Hornet since 2018
• Led the Hornets in multiple-hit games (17) and multiple-RBI games (13)
• Had a 15-game hitting streak from March 4-April 5
• Also hit safely in first eight games of the year, and had a 16-game streak dating back to the previous season
• Hit safely in a team-best 39 games
• Ended the season on a six-game hitting streak with at least one extra base hit in five of those contests
• Had a streak of reaching base safely in 21 straight games (March 4-April 18)
• Her .679 slugging percentage is the ninth best single-season mark in program history

2024 Season
• Played in 44 games in her first season with the Hornets, including 43 starts at designated player
• Ranked fourth on the team with a .319 batting average (45-for-141)
• Scored 17 runs with a team-high nine doubles
• 25 RBIs were second most on the team
• Named to the Big Sky all-tournament team after an incredible four-game performance
• During the tourney, she hit .688 (11-for-16) with six runs, three doubles, three RBIs, a stolen base and .875 slugging percentage
• Had a hit in nine straight at-bats spanning three games, the second longest streak in Sacramento State history (Jamie Schloredt had 10 in 2008)
• Also tied for the 16th longest streak in NCAA Div. I history
• Had four hits against both Idaho State and Northern Colorado, tying the Sacramento State single-game record for hits
• Scored two runs in each of her final three games of the season
• Ended the year on an eight-game hitting streak in which she hit .680 (17-for-25) with eight runs, six doubles, a homer and seven RBIs
• Named Sacramento State's Female Newcomer of the Year

Prior to Sacramento State
• Played her first collegiate season (2023) at Nevada of the Mountain West Conference
• Played in 32 games (three starts) for a Nevada team that finished 31-19
• Started two games in left field, and one in right field

High School
• A 2022 graduate of Saint Mary’s High School in Stockton
• Played four years of varsity softball for the Rams
• A first team all-league selection during both her junior and senior seasons
• During her final two seasons, she combined to hit .556 (84-for-151) with just eight strikeouts
• In 45 games over her final two years, she had 52 runs, 26 doubles, five triples, four home runs and 38 RBIs
• Hit .547 as a junior, and .561 as a senior
• Had 20 doubles in 98 at-bats as a senior
