2015 Season
Named honorable mention all-Big Sky for the second straight year…played in 53 games, including 52 starts (31 in left field, 20 in center field and once at designated player)…hit a career-high .359 (61-for-170), which ranked as the second best mark on the Hornets…also finished with 27 runs scored, eight doubles, one triple, two home runs, 21 RBIs and 18 walks…had a .423 on-base percentage and .453 slugging percentage…also had six stolen bases and committed just one error all season…raised her batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage all four years of her career…had 15 multiple-hit games…against Big Sky competition, she raised her batting average to .373 (25-for-67) with four doubles, 13 walks, eight RBIs and a .475 on-base percentage…had seven different hitting streaks of at least four games long, including a season-best eight-game streak from Feb. 13-27…reached base safely in 21 straight games from March 12-April 11…in eight opportunities with a runner at third base and less than two outs, Chattleton drove in the run five times, good for a team-high .625 success rate…finished with a career .293 batting average…in the Sacramento State Div. I era (1990-pres.) career record book, she is tied for fifth in triples (7), 11th in stolen bases (17) and 13th in on-base percentage (.367)…all 17 of those stolen bases came during the final two years of her career.
2014 Season
One of four Hornets to play in all 46 games…that includes 45 starts in the outfield (28 in center field, 17 in left)…an honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection after batting .276 (40-for-145) with nine doubles, five triples, two home runs, 19 RBIs and a .365 on-base percentage…had a team-high 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts…the 11 stolen bases were tied for the third most in Sacramento State’s Div. I single-season era…also led the team in at-bats…her five triples were among the nation’s leaders, and average of 0.11 triples per game was tied for the 12th best mark in the nation…her 10 multiple-hit games tied for second best on the team…had an eight-game hitting streak from March 1-9…reached base safely in 37 of the team’s 46 games…batted .278 against Big Sky competition with 11 runs scored and 11 RBIs in 16 league games.
2013 Season
Played in 37 games, including 32 starts (30 in left field, twice in center field)…hit .235 with four doubles, a triple, one home run, nine RBIs and five sacrifices…hit safely in each of her final four games of the season, and raised her batting average 47 percentage points over that span…named to the Big Sky all-tournament team after going 3-for-7 with two runs, a triple, home run and three RBIs over two games…hit .500 (6-for-12) over her final four games of the season…also reached base safely in each of her final seven games of the year…scored runs in three of her four pinch running appearances.
2012 Season
Appeared in 27 games, including three starts in left field, one in right field, and once at designated player…had a team-high 20 appearances as a pinch runner, scoring on eight of those occasions…had 14 at-bats during the season, and did not commit an error defensively…named to the PCSC’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
High School
A 2011 graduate of Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo, Calif…played four years of softball, two years of volleyball and one season of basketball…in softball, she was a four-year varsity starting outfielder…named first team all-Sea View League each of her final two years with the Mustangs, and was a second team selection as a sophomore…as a junior, she helped the team to a league championship and a 25-4-1 overall record…that season, she ranked fourth in the league with a .422 batting average to go along with a .464 on-base percentage…during her four seasons, Trabuco Hills combined for a 69-34-3 overall record and a 28-10 league mark…the team never finished worse than second place in the Sea View League standings during her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons.
Personal
Parents are Desmond and Sloan Chattleton…a communication studies major who graduated in the spring of 2015…played for the Lionettes ASA softball team in 2011 where she was one of five players from that squad to commit to Div. I schools to play softball.
