Biography

2025 Season
• An honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection as a true freshman
• Played in 33 games, including 23 starts (10 at first base, 13 at designated player)
• Hit .314 (27-for-86) with five doubles, seven homers, 27 RBIs and a .616 slugging percentage
• Of her 27 hits, 12 went for extra bases
• Moved into the starting lineup on a full-time basis during the second half of the season, starting 13 of the Hornets’ final 14 games
• In three Big Sky Tournament games, Carino hit .556 (5-for-9) with a double, home run and team-high tying six RBIs
• In a win vs. Portland State at the Big Sky Tourney, she was 3-for-3 with a double, homer and six RBIs
• In conference play, Carino hit .323 (10-for-31) with seven runs, five homers and 11 RBIs
• Named the Big Sky Player of the Week on April 28 after combining for four home runs and nine RBIs in a road sweep of Montana
• Hit .294 when used as a pinch hitter (5-for-17) with a double, homer and eight RBIs
• Had an inside-the-park grand slam in a road win at Montana - the program’s first-ever inside the park grand slam
• A Big Sky all-academic selection

High School
• A 2024 graduate of Sutter Union High School in Sutter, Calif.
• Played three seasons of varsity softball for the Huskies
• Helped the team to a 2024 state championship, two section titles, three league championships, an 87-3 overall record, and 40-0 conference mark
• Two-time first team all-Sac-Joaquin section honoree, and three-time first team all-Pioneer League
• Earned Silver Slugger award as a junior after clubbing a school-record 13 home runs with 47 RBIs and a 1.508 ops in 28 games
• Hit better than .450 all four years of high school
• Finished career (89 games) batting .502 (132-263) with 74 runs, 35 doubles, six triples, 23 home runs and 133 RBIs
• Averaged 1.5 RBIs per game during her career, and combined for 22 home runs over her final two seasons
• Other career numbers included a .526 on-base percentage, .943 slugging percentage and 1.469 ops
