2015 Season
A second team all-Big Sky Conference selection, and received some form of all-league mention each of his final three years with the program…finished the season with a 10-10 record in dual singles play, including 4-5 at the No. 1 spot in the lineup, 5-2 at No. 2 and 1-3 at No. 3…in Big Sky matches, he was 7-3 in singles play, and posted a three-set victory at No. 1 over Montana State’s Andre Napoliatano in the Big Sky Tournament quarterfinals…after beginning the season at No. 3 in the team’s lineup, Brandys worked his way up the ladder, eventually playing each of the last nine matches at No. 1…named Big Sky Player of the Week on March 3…also spent the entire season in the doubles lineup, where he competed primarily at No. 1 doubles…posted five victories at No. 1, and secured two victories at No. 2…finished the year 7-11 in doubles play…finished his career with a 41-51 singles record (including 14-15 at No. 1), and 41-42 in doubles play.
2014 Season
A first team all-Big Sky Conference selection after playing the majority of the season at No. 1…finished 12-12 in dual singles play, including a 9-1 record in conference matches…went 9-7 at the No. 1 position in the lineup and 3-5 at No. 2…won eight of his final 13 singles matches of the season, and six of those eight victories came in straight sets…of his 12 singles victories, eight came in straight sets…after losing his first Big Sky singles match of the season, he won nine straight against league opposition…in doubles play, Brandys was 10-8, including a 7-2 record with teammate Ayman Abdulwahab…due to a rash of injuries to the Hornets’ roster throughout the season, Brandys was forced to play with four different doubles partners, going 2-1 at No. 1, 4-6 at No. 2, and 4-1 at No. 3.
2013 Season
An honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection after playing at four spots in the team’s singles lineup (Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4)…went 11-17 in dual singles matches, and 13-16 in dual doubles matches…that included a 7-3 singles record as well as a 7-3 doubles record in Big Sky matches…went 10-6 in the No. 2 doubles slot of the team’s lineup…had a pair of singles winning streaks that spanned at least four matches long.
2012 Season
Went 8-12 in singles play, including 0-2 at No. 3, 3-5 at No. 4, 2-4 at No. 5, and 3-1 at No. 6…went a team-best 11-7 in doubles play, including a 7-1 record with Aliaksandr Malko…won each of his final five doubles matches with Malko, including winning both matches in the Big Sky Tournament…posted a 6-2 singles record against Big Sky opposition, with four of those wins coming in straight sets.
High School
A 2011 graduate of Traugutt High School in Radom, Poland…played basketball all four years of high school as the team’s shooting guard.
Personal
Parents are Wojtek and Agata Brandys…a business administration major…played from 2006-11 for the Legia Warszawa Tennis Club…played at the 2009 summer, and 2010 winter Junior National Team Championships.
