Biography

2016 Season
Did not play in any dual singles matches during the spring, and posted a 1-1 mark in doubles…went 1-0 at No. 1 doubles with teammate Mikus Losbergs, and 0-1 at No. 3 with Joaquin Marquez…the loss in doubles play came against nationally ranked Cal Poly…a fifth-year senior, Ram completed his career with a 34-34 dual singles record, including 11-9 at No. 2, 8-7 at No. 3, 8-4 at No. 4 and 5-3 at No. 6.

2015 Season
Posted a 6-8 dual singles record, including 2-5 at No. 2, 3-1 at No. 3, 1-1 at No. 4, and 0-1 at No. 5…battled a groin injury a good portion of the season which kept him from competing in 10 matches…of his six singles victories, five came in straight sets…in regular season conference matches, Ram was 4-1 in singles play…posted a 1-7 record in dual doubles play with the lone victory coming at No. 3…in three years with the program, Ram’s career singles record in dual matches is 34-34, including an 11-9 mark at No. 2, 8-7 at No. 3, and 8-4 at No. 4…earned ITA Scholar-Athlete status and was a Big Sky all-academic selection.

2014 Season

A first team all-Big Sky Conference selection…posted a team-best 14-10 dual singles record, including a 9-1 mark in conference play…played primarily at No. 2 in the team’s lineup where he posted a 9-4 record…won 11 of his final 13 matches of the season…had a pair of singles winning streaks that stretched to at least five matches long…nine of his 14 singles wins came in straight sets…posted a 6-0, 7-5 win in the Big Sky Tournament quarterfinals against Montana State…in doubles play, Ram went 10-9, including a team-best 7-2 mark in conference play…played with five different partners during the year, going 8-4 at No. 1, 1-5 at No. 2, and 1-0 at No. 3…a Big Sky All-Academic selection.

2013 Season

Posted a 14-16 dual singles record as a redshirt freshman…that included a 7-3 record at No. 4, 2-10 at No. 5, and 5-3 at No. 6…went 8-4 in singles play against Big Sky opposition…went 6-5 over his final 11 singles matches of the year…went 7-9 in dual doubles matches, including a 3-1 record against Big Sky competition…went 5-1 at No. 3 doubles with teammate Henrik Raag…named the Big Sky Player of the Week on April 2.

2012 Season
Took a redshirt and did not play during the spring season.
