Biography

2015 Season
Appeared in 33 games, including 14 starts (13 starts at catcher, one at designated player)…made 11 appearances as a pinch runner, the second most on the team…was inserted into a game as a defensive replacement at catcher 16 times…had nine hits in 46 at-bats, which included two doubles, a home run, two stolen bases, seven RBIs and a .333 on-base percentage…had just one error behind the plate (.992 fielding percentage)…her first career home run came against Santa Clara on Feb. 14…in Big Sky play, she had three hits in 19 at-bats with a stolen base and a .333 on-base percentage…had a two-out, two-run double in the sixth inning to tie UC Davis, 4-4, in a game the Hornets would eventually win, 5-4, at home on April 8.

2014 Season

Appeared in 31 games, including 19 starts (18 times at catcher, once at designated player)…started eight of the Hornets’ final nine games of the season behind the plate…hit .267 (16-for-60) with seven runs, four doubles, three RBIs and a .348 on-base percentage…also hit .267 against conference pitching…served as a team tri-captain…also had five pinch hitting appearances and two pinch running appearances…in the final two games of the regular season against Weber State, she went 4-for-7.

2013 Season

Appeared in 13 games, including one start at catcher…batted .222 (2-for-9) with four runs scored and an RBI…also had two walks, was hit by two pitches and had a .462 on-base percentage…made 11 appearances at catcher as a defensive replacement, and went 1-for-2 with two runs scored against Northern Illinois.

2012 Season
Appeared in four games, and had one at-bat…had one appearance as a pinch runner, and three appearances as a defensive replacement at catcher…named to the PCSC’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School
A 2010 graduate of Carondelet High School in Concord, Calif...played two years of softball for the Cougars…served as the junior varsity squad’s team captain and was named the squad’s defensive player of the year as a sophomore.

Personal
Parents are Ben and Linda Prado…a communication studies major who graduated in the spring of 2015…played three years for the East Bay Vipers…served as the team captain all three years…inducted into the Vipers Hall of Fame and will have her jersey #21 retired.
