2019 Season
Named the Big Sky Conference Pitcher of the Year, third team all-Pacific Region and a unanimous first team all-conference choice after finishing her senior season with a 21-13 record to go along with a 2.08 ERA and .184 opponents batting average…became just the fifth Sacramento State pitcher in the Div. I era (1990-pres.) to win 20 games in a season…threw a pair of no-hitters (including a perfect game against Fairleigh Dickinson)…the perfect game was just the second in the Hornets’ Div. I era…appeared in 46 of the team’s 56 games, and threw shutouts in over 25 percent of her starts…in 228.2 innings pitched, she allowed just 151 hits with 185 strikeouts…the right-hander threw 21 complete games, eight shutouts and added three saves…named the Big Sky Pitcher of the Week on three occasions…led the Big Sky in ERA, opponents batting average, strikeouts, shutouts and wins…named to the Big Sky all-tournament team after going 2-1 with a 0.84 ERA and .126 opponents batting average at the postseason event…among all of Div. I, she ranked 24th in the nation in shutouts, 32nd in hits allowed per 7 innings (4.62) and 39th in wins…her numbers ranked among Sacramento State’s top 10 players in eight different Div. I era single-season categories…that includes tied for first in appearances (46), tied for second in wins (21), third in starts (31) and innings (228.2), fifth in opponents batting average (.184), tied for fifth in saves (3), ninth in strikeouts (185) and tied for 10th in shutouts (8)…a Big Sky all-academic selection for the third time.
2018 Season
Went 7-8 with a 3.35 ERA…had 23 appearances, 18 starts and struck out 58 batters over 106.2 innings…allowed two earned runs or less during her final seven appearances of the season, and went 3-1 with a 1.70 ERA over that span…that included getting the complete game win in a 6-2 victory at Montana on the second to last day of the regular season…with the help of that victory, the Hornets would clinch the Big Sky regular season title the next day…won each of her final three decisions of the season…Corr limited the opposition to a .207 batting average with two outs, and .269 with runners in scoring position…allowed just two earned runs and three hits over 4.2 innings of relief in the NCAA Tournament against 22nd-ranked Texas State…threw two shutout innings of relief against 24th-ranked Cal in her final relief appearance of the regular season…a Big Sky All-Academic selection for the second time.
2017 Season
Made 13 appearances in the circle, all in relief…finished the year 1-0 with a 4.48 ERA…threw 20.1 innings…allowed one earned run or less in 11 of her 13 appearances…had a 2.62 ERA until yielding six runs in her final appearance of the season on April 21 at Southern Utah…longest outing was 3.2 innings vs. CSUN…earned the victory in a 2-1 win at Pacific after she tossed three shutout innings of relief…threw one shutout inning of relief against 22nd-ranked Cal…named an NFCA Scholar-Athlete for academic prowess.
2016 Season
Went 5-4 with a 3.44 ERA as a true freshman…made 18 appearances (second most on the team), including eight starts, one complete game and she was part of a combined shutout…threw a total of 55.0 innings…struck out 27 batters and limited the opposition to a .264 batting average…threw seven innings of shutout ball at UC Davis in the first start and appearance of her collegiate career…earned first collegiate win on Feb. 14, throwing five innings against Santa Clara…also had wins against Saint Mary’s, Northern Colorado, Portland State and Montana…the win against Montana came in the Big Sky Championship postseaston tournament where she allowed two hits and no runs in 4.1 innings…had three appearances in the Big Sky Championship, and went 1-1 with a 2.03 ERA…was part of a combined shutout of Southern Utah in the Big Sky Championship as well…a Big Sky All-Academic selection.
High School
A 2015 graduate of Chino Hills High School in California…played four years of softball, including three with the varsity squad…also competed in one season of basketball for the Huskies…in softball, she was a three-time all-league selection with the varsity squad, including first team as a senior and second team as both a junior and sophomore…helped Chino Hills to three straight league titles, a 79-22 overall record and a 26-4 mark in league…that included three straight CIF Div. II Southern Section Playoff appearances…the Huskies reached the semifinals of the 2014 section tournament, and the quarterfinals in 2013…in 242.2 career innings, Corr went 32-9 with a 2.97 ERA and 227 strikeouts…struck out 6.6 batters per seven innings…as a senior, she went 21-8 with a 3.08 ERA and 145 strikeouts…during her junior season, she was 11-1 with a 2.72 ERA while striking out 82 batters in 74.2 innings.
Personal
Parents are Adam and Monica Corr…a criminal justice major who graduated from Sacramento State in May of 2019…played ASA club ball for TeamSmith and Cal Lite.
