2015 Cross Country: Led the team in six of his seven meets…finished first at the Aggie Open after running 18:27 over 6K…placed seventh at the Capitol Cross Challenge and ninth at the Fresno State Invitational…fastest 8K time was 24:21.5 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational.

2014 Cross Country: Led the team in five of the six meets in which he competed…earned a victory at the Mustang Challenge after running 25:45.9 over the 8K course…placed second at the Aggie Open in 18:56.0 (6K)…fastest 8K time was 24:37.8 at the Stanford Invite.

2013 Cross Country: Did not compete in cross country.

Prior to Sacramento State: Attended American River JC in Sacramento for two seasons…competed in cross country and track for the Beavers…helped the team to state titles in cross country…placed 14th at the state meet in 2012…in track, he finished third at the California JC state meet in the 1500…best time during the year was 3:53.75…other career bests inclure 1:56.66 in the 800 and 14:59.98 in the 5K.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Center HS in Antelop, Calif…competed in cross country, track and wrestling for the Cougars…placed 16th at the state meet as a senior in cross country and was a two-time all-Pioneer Valley League selection…in track, he set the school record in the 1600 (4:21) and 3200 (9:38)…was the PVL champion on both events over his final two seasons…won three individual conference titles in wrestling…was named the most athletic member of the school.

Personal: Majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology…parents are Michael and Juanita Leon.
