2024 Season
Did not play because of injury, and had to medically retire.
2023 Season
Played in each of the Hornets’ first nine games of the season, before missing the remainder of the year with injury…started eight of those nine games (three at first base, five at designated player)…hit .333 (7-for-21) with two doubles, six RBIs, and a .391 on-base percentage…hit 3-for-5 with runners in scoring position…had a huge game in a 7-6 win over Utah Valley, going 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs…went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in a win over Kansas.
2022 Season
Played in 31 games, including four starts at first base…hit .316 (12-for-38) with a double, triple, two home runs and 12 RBIs…had a team-high 25 at-bats in a pinch hitting role, and had eight hits (.320 batting average) with nine RBIs…had a three-run pinch hit homer vs. Southern Utah…in a start at Nevada, she was 2-for-3 with a run, homer, walk and three RBIs…in 10 at-bats in Big Sky play, she had four hits and seven RBIs…hit .400 (8-for-20) with runners in scoring position.
2021 Season
Played in 12 games, including one start, as a true freshman…the start came at designated player…had 11 plate appearances as a pinch hitter, going 2-for-9 with two walks, a homer and three RBIs…that homer was her first collegiate round tripper, a three-run shot in a win at Montana…also had a pinch hit single vs. Weber State.
High School
A 2020 graduate of Berkeley High School…played four years of varsity softball for the Yellowjackets…had her senior season cut short after just four games because of the coronavirus pandemic…a three-time all-West Alameda County League selection…named third team all-section and all-metro as a junior…was the starting first baseman as a freshman when that team went 19-4, won the league title and advanced to sections…hit better than .420 during each of her three full seasons of high school…that includes her 2019 junior year when she hit .643 with a .680 on-base percentage…also hit .424 with a .592 on-base percentage as a freshman, and .439 with a .511 on-base percentage as a sophomore…in 2019, she hit a home run against power Bishop O’Dowd HS that sailed over a two-story building and onto the school’s football field…also played multiple years for the water polo team at Berkeley HS.
Personal
Daughter of Bridgett Buckley…a child and adolescent development major who will graduate in the fall of 2024…played travel ball for Power Fastpitch of Concord, Calif.
