Biography

As a senior (2022): A first team all-American Athletic Conference selection, and named the Hornets’ Most Outstanding Rower…competed with the varsity eight in every spring race in the six seat…helped the Hornets’ top boat to first place finishes at the WIRA Championship, Sacramento State Invitational, and duals vs. Kansas State and UC San Diego…also won a bronze medal with the boat at the San Diego Crew Classic…the WIRA gold was the first for the Hornet varsity eight since 2010…never missed a race during her five-year career…an American Athletic Conference all-academic selection for the fifth straight year…also recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for the fourth straight season.

As a senior (2021):
A second team all-American Athletic Conference selection…one of seven Hornets to compete with the varsity eight in all four spring races…sat in the six seat with the boat’s first two races, followed by the four seat in the last two races…the varsity eight went sub 6:47 in all four competitions…that included a win over Gonzaga at the Dexter Lake Invitational, the first win over the Bulldogs since 2010…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the fourth straight year…also recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for the third straight season.

As a junior (2020):
Competed in the Hornets’ lone spring regatta against Kansas State before the season was cut short…stroked the second varsity eight to a victory over Kansas State…in the fall, she sat in the four seat with the second varsity eight at the Head of the American…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the third straight year…also recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for the second straight season.

As a sophomore (2019):
One of five Hornets to compete with the second varsity eight in all 11 spring races…sat in both the four and six seats on four occasions, and three times in the two seat…sat at six when the second varsity eight beat Gonzaga and Miami at the Lake Natoma Invitational…sat four when the boat took home a silver medal at the WIRA Championship…was also at four for wins over Tennessee and San Diego State at the San Diego Crew Classic…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association, recognizing rowing student-athletes that maintain a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.

As a freshman (2018):
Competed with the third varsity eight/novice eight in all five of the boat’s spring races…sat in the six seat on four occasions with the boat, and once in the four seat…won a bronze medal with the boat at the San Diego Crew Classic, the first time a Hornet novice eight has ever medaled at the event…competed four times in the two seat with the second varsity four, including an appearance at the American Athletic Conference Championship…with the novice four, she sat at stroke once, and in the two seat once…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection.

Personal: A kinesiology major who graduated from Sacramento State in the spring of 2022.
