2020 Season
Played in 10 games in a shortened season, including seven starts at catcher…hit .353 (6-for-17) with a home, run, two walks, five RBIs and a .450 on-base percentage…the home run (a two-run shot) came in the season opener and marked her first collegiate homer… also had three appearances as a pinch hitter…in the season opener against Cal Baptist, Scott finished 3-for-3 with a run, homer and career-best three RBIs…finished her career playing in 128 games, including 115 starts and a .987 fielding percentage…ranks 13th in Sacramento State’s Div. I era (1990-pres.) with 574 putouts.
2019 Season
Played in 49 games, including 45 starts at catcher…caught a Sacramento State pitching staff that finished first in the Big Sky Conference with a 2.88 ERA…in addition, she was the battery mate for three pitchers that finished with a 3.75 ERA or lower, including Big Sky Pitcher of the Year Savanna Corr…in 107 at-bats, she had 17 hits, including three doubles, nine RBIs, 12 walks and seven sacrifices…reached base safely in seven straight games from March 15-22…committed just four errors all season, good for a .983 fielding percentage.
2018 Season
Played in all 51 games, starting 50 times at catcher…committed just two errors behind the plate, good for a .994 fielding percentage…caught a pitching staff that finished first in the Big Sky Conference with a 2.85 team ERA…finished the season 18-for-115 with two doubles, a triple, four sacrifices and seven RBIs…had multiple-hit games against Cal Poly, UC Santa Barbara and Idaho State…the only game of the season she didn’t start was March 10 vs. Howard where she came in to pinch hit.
2017 Season
Played in 18 games as a true freshman, including 13 starts…all 13 of those starts came behind the plate…had six hits in 34 at-bats, four walks and a .275 on-base percentage…started eight games at catcher during conference play…had a multiple-hit game at Santa Clara, going 2-for-4 with a double…had a pair of pinch hitting appearances and one pinch running appearance…finished the season with a .987 fielding percentage.
High School
A 2016 graduate of Sheldon High School in Elk Grove, Calif…was a four-year starting catcher for the varsity squad…helped the Huskies to back-to-back CIF Sac-Joaquin Section championships in 2015 and 2016…over her four seasons with the team, Sheldon High School combined for an 88-33 overall record, 41-7 league mark, two section titles and two Delta League championships (2016, 2014)…as a senior, she was a third team all-state, first team all-Metro and first team all-Delta League selection after batting .371 with a .421 on-base percentage and 28 RBIs in 31 games…as a junior, she was named first team all-Metro and first team all-league after hitting .429 with a 1.198 ops, 11 doubles, four home runs and 36 RBIs in 31 games…garnered some form of all-league recognition all four years of her high school career, including second team honors as a freshman and sophomore…for her career, she hit .369 (128-for-347) with 29 doubles, seven home runs and 100 RBIs in 113 games…also struck out just 26 times in 347 at-bats, or once every 13.3 at-bats…committed just seven errors during her entire career.
Personal
A child development major who is on pace to graduate in the spring of 2020…daughter of Nicole Scott…played club ball for the NorCal Firecrackers where seven of her teammates went on to play Div. I ball.
