2016 Season: Scored for the team after placing seventh in the 110-hurdles and 400-hurdles at the Big Sky Championships…fastest 110H time during the year was 14.71 at the Mondo Team Challenge…finished first at the Causeway Classic Dual after a time of 53.58 in the 400H…indoors, he qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 60-hurdles…best time was 8.49 at the MSU Quad…also competed in the 60 and 200.
2015 Season: Placed fourth in the 110-hurdles and fifth in the 400-hurdles at the Big Sky Championships…fastest 110H time was 14.52 in the qualifying round of the Big Sky meet…finished first at the Aztec Invitational in the 400H with a career best of 52.56…that time ranks as the seventh fastest in school history…indoors, he placed sixth in the 60-hurdles at the Big Sky Championships with a season best of 8.23 in the finals.
2014 Season: Finished seventh in the 110-hurdles at the Big Sky Championships and was ninth in the 400-hurdles…ran 14.75 at the Aggie Open and the Causeway Classic for his fastest time of the year…best 400H time was 54.12 at the Causeway meet…indoors, he was seventh at the Big Sky Championships in the 60-hurdles…ran 8.17 in the qualifying round of that meet for his PR…also moved into sixth place in school history…competed in the 400 in three meets with a best of 50.34 at the Husky Classic.
2013 Season: Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 110- and 400-hurdles…scored for the team in the 110H after placing seventh…ran 14.64 in the qualifying round for his season best…ranks 10th in school history with a 400H time of 53.11 at the Beach Invitational…indoors, he qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 55-hurdles…ran 8.31 in the 60H at the Jacksons Invitational which ties him for eighth in program history…best 400 time was 49.65 at the Meyo Invitational.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Del Oro HS in Loomis, Calif…was the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters champion in the 300-hurdles and placed third in the 110-hurdles…qualified for the California state meet where he was sixth in the 300H…ran 37.53 to win the state meet trials and set the school record…also set the school record in the 110H after running 14.26 at the state trials…was the Sierra Foothill League champion in both events as a senior.
Personal: Majoring in kinesiology…parents are Craig and Lissa Wheeler.
