Biography

2018 Beach Season
Played in all 21 of the team’s matches…played with four different doubles partners, including 12 times with Ashtin Olin, four matches with Lana Brown, three with Sarah Falk, and two with Cianna Andrews…Meadows and Olin played at No. 3 in the team’s lineup in both matches of the Big West Tournament…the tandem won three straight from April 7-11, including a three-set win over a doubles team from Boise State (21-12, 18-21, 15-10)…finished the year with four wins.

2017 Beach Season

Posted a 6-5 record in her third season of beach volleyball, including a 6-3 mark at No. 4 and 0-2 at No. 5…one of two Hornets to finish with a record above .500…all 11 of her matches came with partner Lana Brown…after dropping their first four matches, the duo won six of their final seven matches of the season…that included a five-match winning streak (April 7-28), the longest streak by any Hornet doubles team all season…played each of the final five matches of the year at No. 5, going 4-1 during that stretch…that included a 2-1 record at the Big West Tournament, securing victories against teams from CSUN and CSU Bakersfield…went to three sets just twice all season, and won both of those matches…it was Meadows/Brown that clinched the Hornets’ first-ever Big West Tournament win with a 22-20, 17-21, 15-11 victory at No. 4 over CSUN.

2016 Beach Season
Played in all but two matches, posting a 6-14 record…played with four different partners…was selected honorable mention all-Big West Conference with teammate Brie Gathright…Meadows/Gathright became partners in early April, and combined to post three wins…that included victories against Saint Mary’s, Cal Poly and Feather River College…Meadows/Gathright played at Nos. 4 and 5 in the Hornets’ lineup, including the final nine matches of the year at No. 4…the duo posted a 22-20, 21-19 home win at No. 4 against Cal Poly, and a 21-17, 21-15 road win at Saint Mary’s at No. 5…during the first month of the season, Meadows went 3-2 with Lana Brown, 0-2 with Kennedy Kurtz and 0-1 with Lauren Aikels.

2015 Beach Season
Played in six matches during the sand season, and posted a 4-2 record…played with three different partners, going 3-0 at Nos. 4 and 5 with Kennedy Kurtz, 1-1 at No. 4 with Lauren Aikels, and 0-1 at No. 5 with Lana Brown…the three victories with Kurtz came during the final three matches of the season, including a straight-set win at No. 4 over Cal, and wins at No. 5 over both Cal Poly and Boise State.

High School
A 2014 graduate of Spanish Springs High School in Sparks, Nev…a four-year member of the varsity team, three-year starter, and two-time team captain, Meadows helped the Cougars to a combined overall record of 100-30, a 50-14 league record, the school’s first-ever state championship in 2012, three league titles, and the 2011 and 2013 squads advanced to the regional championship match…as a senior in 2013, she was named the High Desert League Player of the Year and a first team all-league selection after helping the Cougars to a 24-8 overall record, 13-3 in league and a conference championship…often times, Meadows would set while her rotation was the in the back row, and play outside hitter when she rotated to the front row…among team leaders in 2013, she was first in assists and aces, second in kills, and fourth in digs…in 16 league matches, she totalled 118 kills, 359 assists, 105 digs and 53 aces…the assists and aces were both the second-best marks in Spanish Springs HS single-season history…also a second team all-High Desert choice as a junior after helping the squad to a 33-6 overall record, and a conference-championship winning 15-1 league mark…her 729 career assists during league play are the second best mark in school history, and the 115 aces are the third best mark.

Personal
Parents are Pat and Stacy…a criminal justice major who graduated from Sacramento State in May of 2018…played club for the Northern Nevada Juniors in Sparks, Nev., where she was teammates with current Brigitte Murdock.
