Sacramento State

As a senior (2016): Was the coxswain for the varsity eight in 10 of the boat’s 11 spring races…coxed the second varsity eight for one race at the Lake Natoma Invitational…was the coxswain for the varsity eight’s bronze medal winning performance at the WIRA Championship…made the jump from second varsity eight coxswain last season to the varsity eight coxswain this year.

As a junior (2015): Was the primary coxswain for the second varsity eight…sat with the JV8 in nine of the boat’s 11 spring races…that includes coxing the boat to a bronze medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship…was the coxswain for the Hornets’ varsity eight in two races at the WIRA Championship.

Prior to Sacramento State: Competed two years as a coxswain at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, Calif…became the varsity coxswain as a freshman.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Cypress High School in Cypress, Calif…played four years of soccer for the Centurions.

Personal: Parents are Bruce and Maria Cantley…a communication studies major.
