Jada Walker scoring
Nikki Barboza in the seventh.

Marissa Bertuccio against Saint Mary's, as the Gaels scored five unearned runs against the Sacramento State ace over five innings.
Kelsey Alcantara (2-1) earned the win after throwing two innings of relief.
Lewa Day,
Katie Marsh and Walker all had two RBIs for the Hornets. Barboza scored three of the Hornets' eight runs as she was 1-for-1 with three walks.
Samantha Parish also reached base safely in all four plate appearances, going 1-for-1 with two runs and three hit-by-pitches. The three hit-by-pithces tied a Sacramento State single-game record.
In the nightcap against the Spartans, Sacramento State jumped out two a 2-0 lead on a Ludwig RBI-single and Day RBI-double in the third inning. However, San Jose State would score 10 unanswered runs. That included six runs in the fifth to enforce the eight-run mercy rule.
Day now has a four-game hitting streak, and over that stretch, is batting .571 (8-for-14) with four runs, three doubles, a homer, eight RBIs and a 1.000 slugging percentage.
